- Tires, check your tires to make sure they are properly inflated. Every rider should know the proper PSI rating for their tires. Checking out when they are cold is best. Check for any tread is adequate.
Lights, Make sure all lights are in good working order. Head lights (High and Low Beam), Brake lights and Turn Signals.
3. Controls. Make sure your cables are in good condition, not worn or frayed, by kinks or bends, and are securely connected. Check your clutch and brake levers, make sure they are not loose. Look at your brake and shifter, make sure they are attached securely, not bent, and in proper working order.
4. Fluids. Check your fluids, make sure your oil level is sufficient. Oil level could damage your bike. It should be noted. After your last ride.
5. Kickstand. Check that it is properly attached, not loose, wobbly or bent. Looking for your mirror, and looking for your kickstand bouncing down the road behind you. The goal is to enjoy the ride and away.
